Ingredients

  • Beef Filling
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    1 large onion, finely diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 lb ground beef
    1 tsp yellow mustard
    1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt (or Montreal steak seasoning to taste 👀)
    1 tsp black pepper

    Assembly
    12 slider buns (King’s Hawaiian-style sweet rolls)
    12 slices American cheese

    Butter Topping
    4 tbsp butter, melted
    ¼ tsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook the beef filling
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add diced onion and cook 3–4 minutes until softened.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Brown the beef
Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until fully browned.
Stir in mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Season with salt and pepper (or Montreal steak seasoning if using).
Remove from heat and drain excess grease.
  • Assemble sliders
Spray a 9×13 baking dish lightly with cooking spray.
Place bottom halves of slider buns in the dish.
Evenly spread the beef mixture over the buns.
Lay one slice of American cheese per slider.
Place top halves of buns on top.
  • Butter + bake
Mix melted butter with garlic powder.
Brush generously over the tops of the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake
Cover loosely with foil and bake 10 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 8–10 minutes, until tops are golden and cheese is fully melted.
  • Rest + serve
Let rest 3–5 minutes, then slice and serve.
