kcalThese mini pizzas are one of our longtime family favorites β easy, customizable, and surprisingly fun for everyone. Kids get to build their own pizzas, pick toppings, and feel like theyβre in charge (which somehow magically makes dinner easier).
β¨ About This Recipe
This recipe is equal parts dinner and activity. Everyone gets autonomy to create their own mini pizza masterpiece, which makes picky eating easier and family dinner way more fun.
We usually use Thomas Bagel Thins because they crisp up beautifully and let everyone try multiple flavors, but Stonefire naan works great if you want slightly bigger pizzas and fewer topping combinations. Raoβs pizza sauce is my personal go-to, but honestly β use whatever sauce your family loves.

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F.
If using larger bagels or naan, lightly toast first for a few minutes to prevent soggy bread. (Bagel thins usually crisp up well without this step.) - Build your pizzas:
Add sauce
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese
Add toppings of choice - Bake for about 10β15 minutes, or until cheese is melted, toppings are warm, and edges begin to crisp.
- Optional: Broil for 1β2 minutes at the end for a crispier, bubbly top.
- Serve immediately β or let everyone proudly show off their creations first.
Notes
- Optional Upgrades
Higher protein: add grilled chicken or turkey sausage
Lower sodium: reduced-sodium sauce + low-sodium mozzarella + turkey pepperoni
More veggies: banana peppers, onions, peppers, mushrooms, spinach
Make it a family pizza night: set toppings out buffet-style and let everyone build their own
